Ashwood Interiors is created and led by Colleen Pontsler. After graduating from the Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning school (“DAAP”) at the University of Cincinnati, Colleen started her career in Chicago with a focus in hospitality design and then transitioned to designing residential projects throughout the city with Craig and Company. When she and her husband made the move back to Cincinnati, she decided to take her experience and knowledge learned to start her own business.
Ashwood Interiors continues to grow as Colleen works alongside her clients to conceptualize beautiful interior spaces that best fit their needs. She is always motivated to find fresh inspiration on a daily basis to bring these design visions to reality.

FULL SERVICE INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECTS
If you’re looking for a full renovation of your space, this option is for you as it caters to the design and development of the overall aesthetic of your home. I will not only work alongside you to select the mood and style of the furniture, fixtures, and finishes, but I will also also assist in the purchasing of the materials, oversee installation, and manage any contractor coordination to help ease the stress of a renovation. This option can be used to revamp a whole home or an individual room. Taking the purchasing and coordination off your plate ensures a stress free process. Once we create a scope of work and review the budget, a custom package is proposed to best suit your home’s needs.

DESIGN CONSULTATIONS
When you just want a designer’s ear for their thoughts on what to change in your space, I can walk through with you (in person or virtually) and share my ideas. Whether you’d like help rearranging your existing furniture or would like to discuss what paint selections would look best to refresh your home, I offer my tips and tricks and will help develop a plan to give your home the upgrade you’re looking for. Summarized notes and recommended resources will be emailed following the consultation.

SELECTION OF ARCHITECTURAL FINISHES, FIXTURES, AND HARDWARE
For real estate investors and contractors who have the construction and project management under control, but are seeking assistance in selecting the finishes and fixtures to make the home stand out, this package can help dramatically elevate the home's appeal to potential buyers. I will help you upgrade the home while staying budget conscious. I will work within your budget to help select materials that are of quality and that are on trend to help your property sell. Design consultations for these spaces are welcomed as well.
